Before the acrylic glass pane can be mounted on the U-profile, the cover box must be created and placed on the keyboard board.
Thanks to the cardboard cover, the slightly bright button board should no longer be visible from the outside through the tinted black acrylic glass cover.
The cover box is cut from black cardboard measuring 88x37mm. The holes for the five buttons and the acrylic glass assembly must then be drilled.
This can be done very well with suitable metal drills, but without a drill by hand so that the holes do not accidentally tear out.
The edges fray quickly, so you should use sharp paper scissors or a craft knife to remove the fringes from the edges.

If the holes fit perfectly, the cardboard cover should be able to be placed flat on the button board.
If not, it needs to be reworked again. The box should not curl.
